Hey there, folks! I'm Cristian Critelli, a tech enthusiast with a penchant for networking and a tale of wanderlust. Originally from Rome, Italy, I had the amazing fortune of spending almost two decades in the UK, where I fell head over heels for everything British (including the weather!). But recently, love whisked me away to Geneva, Switzerland. Who can resist the power of love, right?

Now, let me tell you about my tech obsession. Networking is my jam—it's like the long-lost love I never knew I had. The intricacies, the possibilities, the endless puzzle-solving—networking just gets me. And then, in 2016, I met "the Cloud". It was like a match made in tech heaven. For the past seven years, I've been knee-deep in all things networking, infrastructure, and cloud migrations. The Cloud swept me off my feet, and I've been learning, exploring, and geeking out ever since.

But enough about me! I'm on a mission to bring a human touch and a dash of humor to the tech world. It's not all bits and bytes, you know? My Story
Ok, so let's be serious now and allow me to answer your question "why should I read your blog?"

I would consider myself and highly accomplished professional with extensive knowledge in networking across on-premises and cloud environments, but also Cloud Migrations.
I have studied so hard to get where I am and to do what I do, fueled by my passion to learn and be always curious about everything. This helped me in collecting a number of Certifications with industry leaders such as Microsoft, AWS, Riverbed, CISCO, Wireshark, etc...

Throughout my career, I have gained significant experience in leading successful migrations, from on-premises to the cloud. This includes a deep understanding of networking principles and best practices, which have been instrumental in ensuring seamless transitions for organisations. I have worked extensively with Azure Networking during my tenure at Microsoft, where I specialised in optimising network infrastructures architecting new infrastructure solutions and facilitating smooth migrations to the cloud.
Currently, in my role as EMEA Lead Networking and Resilience Specialist Solution Architect at AWS, I continue to leverage my expertise to guide our partners and organisations through the intricacies of cloud services.
My experience spans various aspects of networking and resilience best practices, including architecture design, infrastructure optimization, and troubleshooting.
I have leveraged my skills in Azure Networking and AWS to design and implement robust and scalable network infrastructures that align with industry standards and organisational objectives. Additionally, my deep understanding of networking protocols, security measures, and performance optimization enables me to identify and resolve complex issues efficiently, minimising disruptions and maximising operational efficiency.

Throughout my career, I have also successfully led cross-functional teams, collaborated with stakeholders, and ensured timely project delivery. My ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences has been crucial in driving collaboration and achieving successful outcomes.

With my extensive experience in networking, resilience and migrations, coupled with my specialisation in Azure/AWS Networking and current leadership role in AWS, I bring a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to organisations embarking on transformative journeys. I am passionate about leveraging my skills and experience to help organisations achieve their goals, optimize their networking infrastructure, and harness the full potential of cloud technologies.
